Really? I've met him a couple times and have a good friend that most of you know and he said he's the one of the nicest kids he ever met.

Its the HATER's plan! The Defense is inept! The Offense wins the game! Brilliant!

yeah 477 yards and they only scored 21 points.. which included a touchdown off momentum from a Reuben dropped touchdown

Seriously? You don't go 95 yards on momentum alone. He needs to be vey careful because he should have been flagged for standing over the WR. That was immature and stupid. Could have given WVU a free set of downs.

What about "on the field" do you not understand?

I have never spoken to him. I do not doubt that he is a great guy. He is clearly one of my favorite football players to watch ever...except when he goes into shite-talking mode.

Ndamakung Sue (spelling prob wrong) is another example of this one of this nicest guys off the field but on the field his adrenaline and attitude on the fields turns him into something totally different.

My fault on the first part. I thought I read off the field.

However, like I stated earlier, shite talking is exactly that. Talking.

Nothing more. So what?

This is exactly what I disagree with. What a player says to the other teams players in-between plays is not what makes him a great player.

Playing with attitude during the play is what makes a player great.

That's part of being a great player. Make the guy you're covering think he's not good. Getting inside his head and makes him question how good he really is.

Same thing happened to Relf last week.

he backs it up.

hopefully he's smart enough to balance it.

It's football.. an emotional sport. He hasn't been flagged because he knows the line... again, hopefully he keeps balance.

With that said.. keep bashing heads, taking footballs, intercepting, causing lineman to jump, causing fumbles, hustling your fricking arse off, being in position, working your arse off in practice, being polite to the media, and of course keeping grades.... whilst talking trash.

i disagree with your disagree. i really think the trash talk is who he is. it may be bs to us.. but he isn't exactly the biggest guy out there..

why do some people need to give themselves pep talks? to me this is his fuel. may very well be bs to you, but it's working.. and i wouldn't want him to change a thing. he's still not doing anything except being vocal. that is it.. and no one knows what is being said*. this whole thing is so over-blown it is borderline ridiculous.. but some just have to focus in on something negative.

it's words people. words.. that aren't even personal. i totally get where tm is coming from really.

Well put.

"WTF is your problem? I'm only 5'9. You don't have to be afraid of me..... or do you? Bring it. I'm 5'9. You're 6'+..... you'll run over me.... or will you?"

Mind games. I love how he does it.

I guess we will have o agree to disagree. I outplaying a player during a play is what gets in his head...not what you say to him afterward.

Indeed.

Would you rather they shook hands after each down? Come on man.

Show me a player that doesn't talk shite. And I'll show you a player that's not on a football team.
