Is this The Onion? We offered $650K for a LB, not a QB from another state that we didn't get. Oh, OK. I feel like I'm reading WaPo or the NYT.

Well his dad is in prison and Leo Lewis has never had much to do with him.

Even Ole Miss admits in their response to the NCAA most of what Leo Lewis said is true.Only thing they deny is Rebel Rags gave him free stuff.

Hell we signed a player that got free stuff from that store,Malachi Dupre.

That's what I assumed, but is the threshold lower? I believe $10k to a family member would be tax exempt, but it might be taxable if it's a random person.

I could Google it. I'm just lazy.

Eric Dickerson got a brand new Trans Am from A&M...which he promptly got into and drove to SMU to sign a LOI.

...yet while this gets investigated based on a witness testimony that is self serving and has other credibility issues, nothing is done by the NCAA about DJ Fluker and the piles of documented evidence.

Isn't that LSU's entire yearly recruiting budget?

If this moron says LSU offered him $650K and MSU offered him $80K, why didn't the investigator ask him why he signed with MSU instead of LSU. THAT is the answer I want to hear. This guy is going to end up in prison some day too.

I'm confused on how they could possibly deny giving free merchendise to recruits. Makes me literally lol.
So much proof, yet they file a defemation charge haha

Because the SEC, the media and the NCAA didn't want to do anything to Alabama. Excuses were made, evidence ignored, and time moved on.

You're taking the bait like Leo's mom was hoping the Rebs would.Read what it says.

"In addition, an audio tape of an alleged conversation between Farrar and Lewis’ mother, Tina Henderson, was submitted by Farrar’s counsel after the November interview. In the audio tape, recorded on Feb. 2, 2015, a day before Lewis says Allen paid him $10,000 to sign with Ole Miss, Henderson allegedly told Farrar that she had received multiple cash offers for Lewis, including $650,000 from LSU and $80,000 from Mississippi State."

He didn't choose to ask for money from Ole Miss?

He didn't choose to blow the booster off immediately when he got his, and switched his commitment, or never really intended to go there when he asked for money?

These do not reflect?

At those prices, Devin White must be hanging with Bill Gates and Warren Buffett.
