Dear LSU fan,

It is ok to not get to play for the national championship every single year. Quit trying to envision ridiculous sceneraios where your team gets in with 2 losses. Enjoy the rest of the season and be glad you win 10 games a year every single year...

Signed,

The rest of the world

These scenarios are simply fun to speculate on, and it wasn't ridiculous in 2007 when everything fell into place for our Tigers.

This would be my greatest wish. To hear Bama nation cry how we don't deserve a rematch.

Actually I think most of us would welcome it.

I think it's a possibility, the biggest hurdle I see in that scenario would be one loss FSU jumping LSU. They still have top 5 florida on the schedule and will play on championship saturday

If you guys only had one loss I would be wishing on everything I knew to make the other pretenders to lose so you could jump up. That game Saturday night is what college football is all about and I would love nothing more than to experience it one more time!

No sarcasm at all, my words were completely truthful. That was one of the best games I have ever watched in my 32 years on this planet.

I wasn't saying I want to see it just to see Alabama win again, but to see two of the best teams leave it on the field as was done this past weekend.

I couldn't agree more. I still have the adrenaline pumping through my veins from the weekend

Ok...that seemed genuine, so I'll respond.

I agree, I believe 11/3 was the best 2 teams on the field that weekend. I think if either LSU or Bama played any of those other undefeateds, it would be an arse whooping. That being said, the Florida loss really takes us out of the mix without something drastic happening. I'm sure the pollsters would rather stab themselves in the eye than put LSU/Bama back in a NC game.

after the rest of the college football world cried about being left out last year... NO WAY they do it again this soon. no freaken way. Even if the computers look like they might make it happen, the pollsters will go as fas as to pull LSU down if they have to.

What if Jesus comes back? Will you be worried about football then?

What if a meteor strikes? What if the dead start walking the Earth (for real this time, not like in that dream I had or in that movie. Not that one, the other one)?

Unfortunately, I believe you might be right, however it would be fun to witness this kind of chaos in the BCS again

National Championship is a long shot at best but Sugar Bowl is a better scenario and would love to hand it to ND twice in 6 years !
