Absurd statement. Last year alone refutes this, Undefeated SEC Champs and lose a rematch game in the NC.

re: Why do people call Shepard a bust?

I agree with you're perception of Shep, and on top of his great ability as a runner he is a great student and human being. I will be proud to call him a fellow alumni. :geauxtigers:

They said they're a package deal. If one goes, they both go. And vice versa.
I would love to see either one of them get drafted by the Saints

Can A&M beat Bama???
Not this year. A&M is a few years away from being a real threat to win the west. However, they are a fun offense to watch.

how slow your defenses
:rotflmao:
That is one of the most hilarious things I have ever read. Great defenses are what win championships, and that is what the SEC produces. I think the SEC has won enough titles in a row to prove that.

To be honest, watching you and Alabama slowly grind it out, all I could think of was how slow your defenses were and how awful your offenses were. I'm afraid this is the year when your father's football schemes no longer work and the new schemes win.
First of all, what the hell is an Oregon fan doing on our Board? Y'all will blow it and lose a game. Enjoy the Rose Bowl.

He also noted that bar none LSU was the loudest and most inspiring stadium he had ever been in and the sheer number of fans inside and outside of the stadium amazed him.
Hell yes! :geauxtigers:

They're best friends. Sam is quoted as saying if Mingo returns he'll return.
I hope that is true :geauxtigers:

Mingo maybe. Sam doubtful
I was thinking Mingo might be back too, or at least hoping that he will be

With Reid, Minter, Simon, Logan, Montgomery, and Mingo all being draft eligible juniors I hope we can return at least 3 of those names.
I agree, if we can get 3 of them back it would be great.
Any chance of Sam Montgomery and Mingo coming back for Senior Season?

Does anyone think that Sam and Mingo will come back next year to attempt to win a NC?

National Championship is a long shot at best but Sugar Bowl is a better scenario and would love to hand it to ND twice in 6 years !
I like your moves

not likely that all four teams lose twice.
I am not suggesting 2 losses by each of these teams. I simply want to see the chaos if all of these teams lose.

Even if the computers look like they might make it happen, the pollsters will go as fas as to pull LSU down if they have to.
Unfortunately, I believe you might be right, however it would be fun to witness this kind of chaos in the BCS again

I wasn't saying I want to see it just to see Alabama win again, but to see two of the best teams leave it on the field as was done this past weekend.
I couldn't agree more. I still have the adrenaline pumping through my veins from the weekend :geauxtigers:

the biggest hurdle I see in that scenario would be one loss FSU jumping LSU
FSU will probably blow it at Tech this weekend

Quit trying to envision ridiculous sceneraios where your team gets in with 2 losses.
These scenarios are simply fun to speculate on, and it wasn't ridiculous in 2007 when everything fell into place for our Tigers.
