Stub Hub has an agreement with LSU; you're likely fine for a refund

Do they just refund the face value of the ticket or give you a complete refund?

Bought LSU-SCar tix thru Stubhub two years ago when that game was moved to BR because of a hurricane. Stubhub gave me a full refund. They are good to work with. Give them a call or reply to the email you got when you purchased them.

They will email you with information on the venue change. They are probably gonna refund tickets instead of trying to transfer tickets.

Hold up cuz, no need for all the lip. I read in multiple different places that some only refund the face value and not the extra fees. That's why I asked the question.

Maybe should have mentioned that in the OP?

Just tried calling StubHub, they are swamped, im supposed to get a call back in 45 min.. i got 16 tickets to the BYU game thru LSU, 8 of which i sold on SH at way above face.. i guess I'll get refunded for all 16, and purchase another 16 for the NOLA game-- but how do i get the new tix to the buyers in time? And what if the buyers live in TX and cant make it to the game? This is uncharted territory for me, as well as for SH, since the other games LSU has had moved involved other SEC schools, or games where ppl had already showed up before the game was canceled. What a cluster.

Look at the fine print to see if there is anything about cancellation due to force majeure. You may be out of luck...

StubHub will refund your buyers and charge you back for the amount they've already paid you. Lsu will refund you face value. It will be as if the whole thing never happened. The NRG tickets arent going to be used for the replacement venue game.

I just got off of a chat with them and was told they typically transfer tickets in this situation. The guy said he was forwarding my chat to their event team to confirm the change and I should receive an email tomorrow sometime. I told them I hear that tickets might go on sale as early as tonight and would like to know if I have to purchase new ones or can use the ones I have ASAP. He said that he would make my message urgent but I will have to wait for am email from them.

Just got my call back from SH and that is basically what they told me.. Sucks that LSU wouldn't just use the same tickets for entrance to the Superdome.. Why do they have to refund and then reissue new tix??

Think about what you just said. You want to get into the Superdome with a ticket assigned to a seat at NRG stadium. You really do understand the issue with that?
