What happens with scheduling since we don’t get Bama or UF at home this year?

My source at the UA athletic department stated that the 2021 would be @LSU and would continue in the odd year pattern. Seems as if it would benefit UA and LSU as odd years LSU would host FL and UA. In regards to UA in even years, we would host LSU and AU.

But the even years we'd be on the road against Bama and Florida and the odd years, you'd be on the road against us and Auburn

I agree, however it really creates the same set up that Auburn has had that has proven successful. They get UA and UGA at home on odd years and have been able to win a natty and another SEC championship. It really places an emphasis on seceding during the favorable schedule cycle.

There are just too many moving parts to reconcile this.

It sucks, but moving the game in 2021 to Baton Rouge would upset too many things around the league, IMHO. No need to force another Florida situation.

Besides, we play them better in Tuscaloosa anyway.

Under your scenario LSU would host Bama, Florida, Auburn, and A&M in odd years. That would mean even years would have no marquee home game plus road games against Bama, Florida, Auburn, and A&M. I don’t see that happening.

Then does that mean next year ('21 season) LSU would host five SEC games? The four were are already scheduled to play plus bama? So then from here on out, one year LSU hosts five sec games and the following year it's only three?

UF

That was an away game. So if we don't play either LSU goes to Bama and UF comes to LSU next year.

This year's schedule will not change what has been previously planned for 2021, etc.
