Screw former, how bout current?! I say instead of kneeing at the beginning of the second half this weekend..put Jennings in. I've been waiting years to see no.10 throw a forward pass.

agree. was gonna say JJ or Lee. but if anyone saw what Cam was doing with Randle El back at IU... man Herb might have won the Heisman.

While it's certainly a feather in JJ's cap that he beat Bama twice, his one-dimensional game also led to that horrific day in Nola.
is this the urban legend that will never die? "that horrific day in Nola" was a full dimensional offensive collapse. bama ate our oline's lunch all game long and what was remarkable was that we kept the game close for as long as we did. no qb, especially JL, could have managed that game any differently considering how our oline was dominated. I was watching film from the past the other day and JJ, flaws and all, made a ton of plays for LSU and unlike others at his position was not afraid to stand in and take a hit. the kid, for whatever reason, is singled out by many on this board as the sole reason why LSU didn't get more crystal when in reality he was a major part of the reason why we even had a chance. nobody on this planet wanted to deliver more for LSU than JJ/JL....it didn't happen. both of those kids would have benefited greatly from Cam's experience and expertise with footwork and release points but more importantly the improvement in recognition skills might well have put them, the team and LSU fans where we all dreamed of being. JMO.
get better, get ready...get even.

Jarrett Lee. Had all the tools and got totally screwed by Crowton. Wasn't taught much in the way of development. He had potential.

David Woodley-that guy had a pretty decent arm and could run also. Even got the dolphins to the super bowl.

Robbie Mahfouz.
No seriously - Jamarcus or Perrilloux (if he would have panned out.)

JJ without a doubt
Cam would've been wasted on JJ. That kid had no business being a starter at LSU.

Leave Robbie alone. Pretty nice guy.

I wish we had him in 2011. Might have made a game of it on 1/9. Or even better, won more handily in Tuscaloosa and avoiding the mulligan bowl completely.

Rohan davey would have won heisman under cam.

Would have been scary...
I forgot Cam had experience coaching Antwaan Randle El in college as well..
So he'd know how to use a mobile QB...
What could have been..
