He left the NFL to go home and take of his mom that had became ill.I think they live in Baton Rouge now. He still has family in Olla but does not live here.

Know some folks hangin out with him here in BR. They say he is an incredibly nice guy. Trying to get them to bring him fishing at my pond. Will report back to the Rant if it goes down.

His Dad Big Herm Sr was the first Afro-American to play basketball at LSU back in 82.

Saw him at the bulldog a few weeks ago. All football aspirations seem to have been exhausted by the eye test.

Yea saw him Saturday. He had a line of kids waiting to take a picture with him. He would flex and let them hang off of his arms. Seems like a good guy.

He lives in my buddies apartment complex. He'll cone over and watch the game with us every now and then and tell us stories from his playin days. He's pretty cool and real nice. He said he was workin on bein a high school teacher and teachin biology in Texas
