re: What does PM blame for the 1-5 start? Luck.

Some of these games wouldn’t be close to lose so late if we had competent coaching. Blaming luck when it’s a close game and one small thing goes wrong when it shouldn’t have been a close game to begin with is only slightly dishonest.

Wait, that includes hbp and balk right?
No. 19 straight walks.

Yep. Pitching was more of a reason for losing the series than hitting. Ridiculous.

1-5 in SEC play. A slow start

19
Wait, that includes hbp and balk right?
And the 19 walks exclude 3 intentional bases on balls.

And hit how many more? 3?

For baseball, i think it’s a pretty good representation.
And thanks for thinking about me every time you post. I'm flattered.

OR
Were a mananged pitching change away
Or a well coached hitter away.
The SEC is tough but 1-5 is telling. Were not bottom of the barrel talent, but we're bottom of the barrel...what's left to blame.

You already confirmed what you’ve always thought about me before that post.
You’re welcome, you should be flattered

Inexcusable. PM and Dunn need to get that shite figured out. You can't just keep letting games and series get away from you in the SEC from self inflicted mistakes.

Luck should not have a million dollar paycheck attached to it. Unless you’re playing PowerBall.

Fire that MOFO immediately!!! What a crock of shite!!!

When 99% of people on here want Paul gone, you really think it’s not that way out in public? I don’t know a single person who defends him anymore. That includes people who have always had his back while debating with me. It’s over.
You see people with football coaches or basketball coaches...it’s normally 50/50 on here. Baseball is different. There are no “sidewalk fans” for baseball because you really have to love the game to watch it.

The rant is a hyperbole of everything. So I disagree with you slightly. That being said, the overall mood toward PM is not good. His behavior this week changed a lot of minds. People think his passion is gone even if he’s still good intentioned.

Most people on here wanted Miles gone and he was cheered so much at the last home game that they decided to keep him.

I’m not arguing that point. The rant is mostly an awesome cesspool of bull shite. I’m just saying it’s much more representative with baseball than basketball and football.

PM will be cheered when he finally leaves no matter when that is.
Posted on 3/28/21 at 7:07 pm to TigerLunatik
And most people outside of here wanted him gone. A few powerful people kept him. Most disagreed with it.

This is a weak excuse.
Miss. St., Game 1: Jaden Hill barely survived the 6th but was left in the game until he loaded the bases, ultimately allowing 3 more runs to score and putting the game out of reach
Miss. St., Game 2: we threatened to score maybe twice and neither was thwarted by bad luck
Tennessee, Game 1: terrible defense by Sanford and Travinski, never threatened to score outside the 1 run they did score
Tennessee, Game 2: Hill stunk, we walked 8 batters, hit another, and gave up 4 HRs
Tennessee, Game 3: Never threatened to score outside the 2 runs they did score, couldn't get the leadoff man out, balked him to 3rd, gave up a hit that would've won the game anyway
Where's the bad luck? At most, you can say last night with the game being suspended to today, but the same pitcher was used today so there's no guarantee he doesn't blow the game last night as well.
This isn't a razor-thing margin-of-error going against the Tigers; they're playing terrible baseball in every facet. They swing at too many bad pitches so they don't get walked, the pitchers can't throw strikes, the defense is subpar across the board, and Maineiri makes terrible personnel decisions on a nightly basis.
Bad processes lead to bad results.
