Why don't u link your source for the "Blood test" BS you posted before you start demanding links.

The test for it here at parklane academy. Then again, it's a small private school so they don't have to spend as much on as many students. The reason most companies do not test for it is because it is more expensive.
No bloodwork needed.

It can be tested for, but its a seperate test from your standard drug test. I am kind of skeptical on the whole "failing a drug test for synthetic weed"
Not exactly, not a separate "test". Give one sample and several test panels are run on same sample by the lab. Each panel tests for different substances.
Once you pop a positive you have the ability to request (at your own cost) testing of the "b" sample collected at same time but that did not have tests run.
The testing LSU and other sports entities do are often the latest available, often they still run behind the most creative chemicals that can be bought, but eventually they catch up.

You can absolutely test for synthetic cannabinoids with a urine test. I have some sheets in my office right now.
Posted on 10/20/11 at 3:01 pm to xavierTIGER
that's not true. they just have to send the piss off to a lab for the results.

i'm skeptical about the extensive knowledge of drug testing on this board.

I've been told on this board, unless Miles says it, then it's not true. Therefore, logic dictates there was no failed drug tests.

Normal urine tests are not capable of measuring JWH-labeled compounds. The drug tests linked all use either gas or liquid chrom/mass spec testing which are compound specific methods. Compound specific tests have a higher rate of false positives and come at a higher cost. They are not used in random drug tests, it would only be used if you suspect a specific compound is present. Blood testing is the only method that is comprehensive and reliable. So yes, technically there are urine tests which can potentially indicate the presence of the compound...but it was easier to type it the way I did for the simpletons on the board.

Ok, back to the original subject of this post: He actually said:
"an LSU official told him that Spice or K2 was a Widespread problem on LSU's campus".
That's a little embarrasing to hear about your school on national tv and I would like to think that it's not acurate either.

You are misinformed. LSU random tests are not limited to as you say normal urine tests.
In fact it explicitly states that tests are not limited to "normal" urine tests and furthermore states that they specifically test for synthetic weed.
LSU Drug Policy
In agreement with the policies of Louisiana State University and the NCAA, the LSU Athletic Department expressly prohibits the use, sale, or distribution of any and all illegal substances by its athletes and staff. Comprehensive drug testing procedures may be used by the athletic department including, but not limited to, urinalysis testing, hair sample testing, breathalyzer, etc...Testing protocol includes the following:
1. All illegal drugs.
2. Synthetic Marijuana

let me make this real simple for YOU. A lot of people seem to have posted links to refute what you are saying.
So post a LINK or GTFO

Google "synthetic marijuana drug test", i don't want to look it up at work, but there are companies that claim they can test for it.
Haha, I thought the same thing

No, according to your link it says that they CAN test for it.
I don't pretend to know exactly which means of testing the athletic department employs for a given athlete. I do have a better understanding of the types of compounds they would be testing for and therefore, the probability of which specific tests would be routine.

I wasn't sure who "the simpletons" where, but I'd know it by who took offense and responded to that comment. All idiots hate when you call them "idiot".
