Pretty unique player. It seems he was lethal around the goal at any angle. He blocked shots of taller players when the game was on the line. He could make unbelievable passes and steals in key situations.
Not many, his size, who have his capabilities.
Most importantly he really understood the game and had the tools to take advantage.

He's been compared quite often this year to Shabazz Napier. If you watch Napier, you see a lot of the same quickness and crafty that makes Waters great.
However, Napier is listed a 6'1 (w/ shoes; 5'11 w/o shoes). From all indications, Waters is even shorter than is listed height of 5'11. It will be interesting to see where Waters measures in. I suspect he's going to be 1-3 inches shorter than Napier

I find a lot of similarities between him and NBA bench players and those who go play in Europe.

He reminds me of a Kidd that used to play named Jason.

Tyler Ulis from Kentucky is the correct answer . SEC POY. SEC DPOY 5’ 10” Out of association in 2 years, G League currently, couldn’t overcome height deficiency, huge defensive liability . Very much how I think TW will end up

Ish Smith with a little better deep ball.

He better get accustomed to a lot more passing and a whole lot less shooting

KJ’s style of play is very similar- good comparison. But KJ was a legit 6 footer ( listed at 6’1).
Tremont’s value in the NBA would be as a slasher / set-up man . He has otherworldly skills in that regard. And of course everybwants a backup point guard who can legitimately shoot. I think he’s better and has a higher upside than most here do. Tremont has a little magic about him that’s very difficult to quantify.
