Those runs he uncorked against the Aggies were artwork. A shame the team sucked and wasted his talent

Kinchen TD against Aggies

One of the greatest and most athletic plays I have ever witnessed in Tiger Stadium.
I will never forget all those Aggies chasing him like a bunch of hound dogs after a rabbit.

Them teams had enough talent to win and go to bowl games but Curly was that bad and created chaos the entire time.

I loved watching Todd return punts.

Probably my all-time favorite Tiger.

Played for a minute in the NFL too, Trafton (now Dunham School) grad. Think he played for Coach Weiner there before Coach left for Catholic. Great stuff, great LSU family.

Was in the NFL for seven years...had two TD's on punt returns IN ONE GAME for the Rams in the early 90's. Still tied as the NFL record for one game.

Really fun to watch that guy run.

His brother Brian was a great tight end for LSU and played several years in the NFL as a tight end and long snapper. His dad Gus played for LSU back in the 50s.on the Chinese Bandits. A super nice gentleman who randomly came up and introduced himself to me at a Coke stand in Tiger Stadium while Todd was playing for the Tigers.
Classy people.

Damn I miss Hawthorne.

Blair is great, but wow the feelings his voice in that video just brought out.

I don’t think he ever took a fair catch. He always returned the ball.

14 years to be exact, and won a SB Championship with the Patriots in 2003

I don’t think it’s online anywhere, but I watched Todd Kinchen will LSU to a win against Kentucky in 1991. LSU won 29-26 and had no business winning the game. UK was 0-7 in conference that year. He returned a punt for a TD and caught a pass for a touchdown.

Yep! Dude was electric at kick and punt returns as well.

Some of my first memories in TS. I was around 10 years old at the time. Parents were tailgating in 101 outside the stadium. Thats where the players used to come out back then (also where the only small gift shop was located). 10 year old me was watching Hodson and Kinchen throw a football back and forth in the parking lot.

I remember that block, the whole stadium saw it coming, it was like everyone sucked in at once and then when he hit, everyone just exploded.
Probably would be a flag today.
