Never seen him pitch. He went CG 6 hitter against us in Gainsville earlier this year. What is he like? Rag arm, power arm, etc.

Hopefully we see the Singer from Arkansas in Hoover and the game they lost to Bethune-Cookman in the regional.

Edit: Hell, he was knocked around pretty good in most of his outings between the LSU game and getting to Wake Forest in the Super. Hopefully he reverts back to that form rather than how he looked against Louisville.

He throws approx 90% fastballs. And when the other team is hitting his fastball, he throws temper tantrums....

He's a hothead that throws hot fastballs. So it's feast or famine

He likes to pitch up and in, down and in fastballs, to set up the change up down and away.

I have a good feeling we can hit this guy and score some runs in bunches. I'm not going to pretend the series in March means anything at this point, though he did shut us out. We reaaaaally need Reynolds, et al to hold the rope. If we steal this one, start printing the shirts IMHO

He's really good. Not as good as Faedo but not that far off. He has tremendous movement and late life on a fastball that can get into the mid 90s. Dude is good. He can be rattled no doubt but the stuff is undeniable.

Probably what Oregon State fans were saying after they pounded us in the first game.
Some people just don't get athletics and competition.

I wonder what Oregon State was feeling like after they beat LSU 13-1 last monday?

A win tonight guarantees LSU nothing.

Thanks

But let's not pretend winning game 1 with a piece-meal staff setting it up for us to only have to win 1 of 2 with our 2 best pitchers on the mound wouldn't be unbelievably huge.

Hell yes it would be awesome. I've seen worse pitchers cool down LSU's bats than what they would see on Tuesday and Wednesday. We've also seen Poche implode before. How does Lange respond on short rest?

He's the kid that lost his god damn mind during that rain delay in Gainesville. It was awesome. Hopefully we can rattle his composure.
