I agree with this except for the Jones thing. I've been waiting for him to be better at the plate but he actually has been better. He isn't striking out as much. He provides quality at bats by logging a few more pitches on the pitcher. As far as his average goes it is similar to last year. I think we need to lay off of Jones and not put the pressure on him.

what happened to the fanbase? seems like it used to be pretty solid. Miss St. has an issue in this area as well.

I dont think we are "putting pressure on him. He has had great at bats all season long and looks improved over a year ago. I have supported him all along, but last week in 4 games he was 1-16 with 4 BB. He needs to start getting a few hits, which I think he will.

I wouldn't consider what goes on in here as representative of the fanbase. I think the majority of the guys in the in game threads know their stuff and more representative of the baseball fanbase.
Baseball fans are more accepting of losses. We understand in general what a good team looks like from fundamental defense to on base running.
I'm just glad Javi isn't the third base coach.

Our only identifiable weakness for me is our lack of strong arms in the outfield.
Our bullpen tends to make for some adventurous relief appearances but they've buckled down and got the job done eventually.
