...of LSU in the polls?
Say another 9-6 game happens?
Bama drops to 3 and LSU goes to 4?

I don't think this is possible.

I have wondered this as well. We would overtake them though by winning out and beating UGA in the SEC Championship Game.

They'd both be behind Oregon, ND, and KState so 3 and 4 has a zero percent chance.

This was a topic last week.
It is possible, although all logic is against this. The computer polls at this point do not favor Bama ( Note: they did not favor Bama on Nov. 4, 2011 either but sure favored them on Nov. 6, 2011). We still do not know how 5 of the comp. polls determine their rankings and the human factor has become more agenda driven in the last 10 years or so.
In all likely-hood LSU will be #4 and Bama will be #5 with an LSU win, but after a 3rd place team in a conference played for a championship I will never take logic in college football for granted.

Really??? If we beat the gumps, at MINIMUM, we would move to #4. Depending on other games, we could jump to #2

0.
LSU will move to 4 with a win, Bama - at the highest - will be right behind LSU at 5.

I meant jump any 1-3
No. If Alabama goes down, Oregon, ND, and KState will hold the 1-3 spots (in some order) until they lose. LSU, UGA, FLA and a potential one-loss Alabama do not control their destiny in the BCS.
