I do not gamble. Can you please explain what this means? And, is that considered a heavy favorite? Small favorite? etc.

TIA

If I wanted to play LSU I would put $150 to win $100, if CC I would put up $100 to win $150. That was just my guess. We would be a small favorite if that was indeed what it came out to be.

Wow, Louisville sitting at -2000 (bet 2000 to win 100), with their opponent UCSB sitting with a ridiculous +1100 (100 to win $1100).

Sort of, you're right about the LSU payout in that case, but the other side would probably be +130 instead of +150 because that's how the bookies make their money.

That jumped out to me as well. +1100 in a super regional is wild.

We're favored more than I thought we would be

That may be worth $100

No line yet with my book. Only NCAA game up is Alabama -130 in softball tonight. Won't be a line until the pitchers are posted for LSU game. but I'll post it when it's up. Maybe series prices a little sooner.

If you want to throw away $100, sure it's worth it. Louisville is crazy good.

They were pretty good last year too and choked against Cal State Fullerton. They don't have a great postseason track record. Lost their super as a national seed last year, 0-2 in Omaha back to back years in 2013 and 2014, didn't make it out of a regional in 2012.

I'm not saying bet the farm on UCSB, but for the casual bettor it's always fun to throw a $10 bet on something like this. I mean Louisville is good, but they are not -2000 (a sure thing) good.
