'07 VA Tech was one that always comes to mind. But the '03 SEC Championship game against Georgia always comes to mind as one of the most dominant performances as well.

2011 Cotton Bowl against Texas A&M was another one and 2018 against Georgia is another one that might not get the same recognition as others but that was an arse whopping in Tiger Stadium where all Georgia fans expected they were going to roll in to Death Valley and take it over. They were sadly mistaken.

This win and their performance down the stretch (plus Pitt beating WV) was one of the discriminators that got us into the big game.

It was huge. Everything else the same, had VT not been on our schedule and VT had a cupcake instead, they get into the NC game with 1-loss over us.

Pretty sure LSU had to bat down a pass in the end zone to seal the UCF win.

2011 Mercy Knee, LSU beat 10/13 teams by 21 or more points that season iirc.
2019 OU over before half. LSU also beat 10 teams by 21 or more that year.

No love for UCF? They had their moment and then Burrow happened.

Jacoby Stevens had to get an interception on their last possession to keep them from tying it and sending to OT.

Number one has to be the beat down of Oklahoma in the 2019 semifinals. Joe Burrow could have scored 100 had he wanted to.

Yeah, the 2011 Florida and Auburn games were dominating performances as well. I remember Jarvis Landry destroying an Aubie kick returner.

Some say Craig Steltz is still intercepting passes in that game to this day

Both Arizona games. 03 & 06 (I think 06).

The Fournette games against Auburn and Ole Miss (2014 & 2015)

Florida last year

I’d argue the SEC championship game against GA Beling’s pretty high.

The score was closeish at half but we were beating their dicks off.

That game was touch and go for a 3-quarter 24-17 at the end of 3.
Well… that was a top 5 matchup.
#1 LSU beat #3 Arkansas 41-17

The 52-3 Ole Miss game that year (2011)
That was #1 LSU (10-0) vs unranked Ole Miss (2-8).

ETA: I now see OP’s criteria, so technically 2011 Arky doesn’t qualify. LSU was down 14-0 until Honey Badger decided to take over.

That’s still a more impressive win in my book than stomping a 2-8 Ole Miss team, but I guess that’s not what OP was looking for.

Kentucky 2006

49-0

This was Rich Brooks' first "good" UK team, his first with a winning record. We were coming off the UF debacle/ Tebow jump pass game.

We absolutely destroyed them. Just bullied em all over the place.

I remember Brooks or one of the players saying it was a turning point for their program. They won 5 of their last 6 games (including their bowl) and of course upset us the next year.

I say this every time the game is brought up, but 2011 Oregon was not a beatdown.

That game was ultimately the deciding factor in us getting the nod to the title game as well even if no one really said it out loud. As VT would go on to win the ACC at an identical 11-2 record as us, avenging their only conference loss to Matt Ryan's Boston College team in the ACC CG. If LSU and VT don't play each other and instead play cupcakes or something instead, VT goes 12-1 avenging their only loss and probably goes to the title game instead of us.

It’s usually a closer game though when it’s a top 5 matchup.

Oregon finished that year ranked #4

That LSU team beat #3 Oregon by 13
Beat #3 Arkansas by 14
Beat #12 UGA by 32

Arizona in 2003. I still feel bad for Willie Tuitama. That team had absolutely no clue what they were in for that night.
