I love how this type of dipshit abandons thread so quickly.

We did not play poorly.

Go back and watch the game, they did not play poorly.

1. LSU receivers did not get behind the UNT secondary
2. LSU end did not record a sack
3. Mett did not read an obvious corner blitz that led to a sack/concussion
4. Mett throws an int near the goal line.
5. Penalties erase two TDs.
6. The offense looked ill prepared, rusty, undisciplined.

You're right, that 500 yards of offene was sooooo poor. And the D Line practically living in the backfield was unacceptable. And the best qb play we've had since Flynn in '07 was putrid. And ... oh the reasons? I think they played so poorly, in a game that was over after a 21-0 first quarter blitz, because... some of their fans are morons..

They beat UNT recievers quite often. They didn't "get behind" them because we didn't run many long pass plays.
They were in max protect every time they threw the ball.
Mett didn't recognize a blitz. Teachable moment. Bet your sweet arse he'll see in in the future. He doesn't have a concussion.
He'll throw more than that one before it's through. He's a passing QB. Mistakes will be made.
Penalties can easily be corrected.
Funny how rusty you get after 8 months of no games.

I hope those are 6 things the team can improve on rather than you agreeing with how poorly the team played. LSU played well, not perfect and definitely not poorly.

OP can now go to sleep knowing not only is there at least one kindred spirit who thinks that the Tigers played poorly but also has multiple reasons to support that.

These are for the most part MISTAKES, serving as evidence that the team did not play a perfect game. There is a grand canyon-like difference between this and "playing poorly". But I'm sure you'll never see it that way.. We're doomed! Panic now!!!
