Recruiting…

I don’t think you understand how bad off our roster was, especially the pitching, when Maineri left. This roster is still being rebuilt and we still need way more quality pitchers.

Definitely better at looking engaged and interested in the game play while on the bench.

Paul was a very good recruiter... when he gave a shite.

For the record, Paul is a top 10-15 college baseball coach of all-time and Jay has a chance to join him there.

It's so dumb trying to pit the two against each other. But LSU fans are gonna LSU fan.

In 2021, LSU was 8th in the SEC in batting average..

2022, they were 2nd

2023, they were 1st

Seems…significant.

Paul checked out after 2017. Before that he was one of the best coaches in college baseball.

Jay still has the fire. Works insane hours. College baseball is a competitive bitch but he’ll have lsu in the mix every year and eventually, they will get it done.

On its surface he had more skins on the wall, with a West championship and a SEC tourney championship, and a #7 national seed.

However, look at the rest of the SEC that year. It’s comparable to the strength of the conference in the early Saban years. Nothing like it is now.

That being said, Omaha is in reach like it was in 2008.

Hoping he flips the switch next week. If he doesn’t get out of a regional it’s gonna get real ugly for him.

LSU fans will say the stupidest things to discredit Paul.

I m going to wait until JJ has had 4 full seasons to make any longterm judgments on him. I DO like it that we have had two straight top 4 SEC finishes (17 wins then 19 wins) under JJ.

Ask me how I know that you are a lonely, sad little troll begging for attention?

Nothing like throwing some red meat out there to stir shite on an ex LSU coach to get the Rant all in a lather is there?

You're deflecting, as usual. OP asked what he was better at. Oh, and to field your deflection. Did he not correct it in year 2?

Paul admitted that after he won the Natty he just stopped caring and then realized it a few years later.
