How many 5*s do you think start their freshman year? Especially on defense.

Chad Jones played out of position for his first 2 years as a coverage nickel back, and had a very good junior year playing safety.

I think most recruiting services project five star recruits to play as true freshmen. Of course they won't start if they are behind and allstar veteran at their postition.

fair enough on his utilization, but that doesnt change the fact that he wasnt a 5 star college player

Show me where I said anything about how either of them played. I brought up Ciron Black as an example of how an All-SEC selection does not necessarily mean that the player was the best in the conference. A very very large portion of the vote has to do with name recognition.
