Ok I’ll bite. Based on what? Bama gets all the best players, they utilize their tight end more than any team in the country, they don’t ask their tight ends to block, saban ?

I hear you, but when 72% of the demographic you rely on almost exclusively to field a team comes from a broken home, that's a tall order.

Arik is just a groupie from the natty

Well many have grown up relieving stress in a certain way that LSU won’t budge on. They get to LSU and find out they can’t and don’t know how to cope. Next they find out from all their old high school teammates that you can go to other schools in the same conference and it’s not a problem. All else being equal it’s a no brainer.

Alabama has had so many 5 star guys leave over the years, you could probably make a very good college team if you got them together.

dumb take

they’ve lost 4 going back to the 2012 class

do you know how many of the 5 stars on bamas roster are playing in the nfl?

their 5 stars play like 5 stars

I think you have young men who grow up in a town where people look up and worship them , then when they come to college or at least to a national championship caliber team , and are treated like every other kid they don't like it. They don't understand most don't make it on the field till sophomore season and kill it their junior and senior season. And then you have some who expect to play and all the hype first day. That shows you a greater respect for those like curry and Brennan who stayed and put the time and work in. Brennan could have left the day they brought burrows in but he didn't. I know some leave because schools change off or def schemes. The ones who leave , best of luck. Praise the ones who stay and want to fight everyday.

Frank Herron, Jai Eugene, and Craig Loston were 5* and didn’t didn’t do much. You win some you lose some.

Alabama lost 10 to transfers last year...Clemson 8....no team is exempt nor is it indicative of coaches. It is indicative of kids.

I disagree that the gumps use the TE more than any other college. Iowa uses the TE far more than the gumps.

What we really need are more old school parents that raise their kids to take their time making a decision and stick it out once they've made it.

These parents don’t have kids obsessed with playing sports.

So, basically he needs to continue doing exactly what he is doing?

Boosters aren’t putting up enough money to current players. That’s the biggest issue.
