Auburn had a 3rd and long and escaped without a holding penalty or a intentional grounding penalty. Even the commentators pointed them out.

Nope. Game was officiated VERY fairly.

No OBVIOUS bad calls.

Some people will talk about the "late hit" at the end we got penalized for, but that was a good call, trust me.

There was a very questionable roughing the passer call that was (I think) a drive extender.

Tubby said in his post game interview with Auburn radios/XM said that "we got drugged down on that last TD by them but it didn't get called".

Tears were streaming down my face.

the roughing the passer call on cutrera was pretty weak from what I saw in real time...they did not show the replay on the big screen so didn't get to see....Overall fair...Good Zebras!

Yea, the intentional grounding they didnt call was probably the most glaring of the night.

I dont recall that play.

I remember Sheppard and Alem getting late hit penalties but not Cutrera.

Alem made sure on the subsequent play that there would be no question that he was there in time and fairly smacked the QB. I thought he took the bad call as a challenge. Thing of beauty. He left no doubt.

I just saw that play via TIVO. They did miss the call but they had to punt next play so it didnt hurt too bad.

Good post.

He did exactly what you want a player to do after making a big mistake. He made up for it BIG TIME!!

RJ Jackson ripped the ball from a kick returner before he was down in the second half, but apparently no one in Alabama saw it.

Problem was that official was so far behind playing catch up. I doubt it would have been overturned due to the irrefutable clause.

But he never possessed the ball by himself. The ball fell on the chest of the Auburn returner, and both guys seemed to get there hands on the ball simultaneously.

You don't remember Cutrera getting that roughing the passer play just before we sacked Todd for the big loss during UAs last series

That was Alem. The next play, Alem made up for it with the sack.
