MLB is supposedly cracking down in it. Hopefully college will follow suit. Wouldn't be too hard; check pitchers' hats, gloves and pockets before they pitch, then check anything they frequently touch after they start. Would take juat a minute or two.

I don't know if we brought it up or not, but it wasn't checked.

We're not the story in this regional; we're a 3 seed in mostly on name. This is a Pacific Northwest regional, Gonzaga was close to being a 1 seed, so the story is Oregon-Gonzaga. Nobody was really going to care what happened to us.

If you don't think there's a bias in regionals, go back and look at Tennessee's first game. Nice grand slam to walk off in the 9th, but that could have been called an out with all the trash the guy did.

I know it’s water under the bridge but I wonder how he got caught in the game he was ejected.

Surely LSU took a look at the film and would have been on notice.

He certainly was very adamant about the inside of his belt and kept rubbing the ball deep and hard into his glove throughout the game.

It did if his curveball has 2x the spin and bite due to pine tar.

That curve he had was filthy

penalty is kicking player out of current game. Nothing else.

Kind of pathetic really as why not try to cheat as the worst case is you just come out of a game after you did x innings of cheating.

I asked during the game thread the other night for Paul to go get the Umps to check him.... but as usual Paul doesn't listen to me.
