Marshall and Mcmath are right up there with him as true breakout WRs, legit downfield threats who run crisp routes and have excellent hands.

Then of course you have Megatron. What else can be said about Gilbert? He's already the best TE in college football, just as Stingley was the best CB the moment he signed his LOI.

Boutte is going to blow shite up. He's no wild card. Kid can, and will ball out. The offense version of Queen last year. Can't wait.

That's 4 legit weapons for Brennan, plus whoever emerges out of the backfield.

Yes, icing on the cake would've been having Chase, too, but the cake is already pretty damned good.

I hope you're right. As much as I hate that LSU is going full BLM I will still watch them. I talk a big game but I'll be right there watching at kickoff like always. The tv may be on mute, though.

I"m optimistic, but that's still TWO freshmen receivers among the four starters. I'm gonna wait and see what happens. But it looks like there's great potential there.

I agree.

Chase left because he saw the writing on the wall, would've been hard for him to get playing time.

It’s not the offense I’m worried about at this point. It’s that we may start 2 DE’s in a 4-3 scheme that weigh around 250 lbs and have barely played a meaningful down.

Yeah, the DL worries me, esp on the edges. Bo's gonna earn his dough on the blitzes he can devise.

Ariktron sounds better.

Well..Arik is gonna be nasty..but losing Chase is the worst case scenario...an absolute security blanket for Brennan gone..poof..just like that..irreplaceable

Don't kid yourself, we'll miss Chase. Would have drawn a Lot of double teams. Like the young guns, but they young. I think Gilbert will be a monster tho.

It was only a month ago that Chase was begging everyone to stay home so he could play football. Not long after, he bailed on the team. I understand the money and business decision, but just thought it was ironic. LSU will be ok without Chase, but they are definitely a little less lethal on offense without him.

I don’t think that’s the case at all.

I bet the team supports him 100%; it’s selfish fans who have your attitude.
