We're done playing until the first CFP rankings come out

Do we think their rankings will differ from the AP/coaches poll drastically?
I know we gotta wait to see what happens next weekend but I'm wondering if the committee actually sees us as a top 10 contender or if they cop out and mirror the biased rankings we've been looking at all year.

The CFP rankings are as arcane and subjective as any other human poll and, by definition, an absolute and corrupting barrier to knowing the-thing-in-itself.
The idea that this is the way to create a playoff bracket has been, is, and always will be atrociously ludicrous…

I would suspect LSU will be just on the outside looking in, which is fine by me. It does not matter at all though. You either win and move on, or it won't matter. In the perfect world, LSU runs the table and sits out the SEC Champ game, comes in at a solid 6 or 7 seed, and draws Utah in the second round.

I think LSU will be ranked around 10 when the rankings come out. The committee values SOS and conference strength. AP voters do not. LSU is also playing really good football at the moment.

They will just take the AP poll because none of those people know a damn thing about football
