it will start same day but as for 1st and 2nd day it doesn't matter but one group will start together because of how scheduling works.
1/8 loser vs. 4/5 loser (Loser Eliminated)
1/8 winner vs. 4/5 winner
2/7 loser vs. 3/6 loser (Loser eliminated)
2/7 winner vs. 3/6 winner
there's no way you would mix those up and have 1/8 and 3/6 starting the same day.

yeah. but again it doesnt matter when a super begins, it matters when it ends. the 1,8,4, & 5 could all start Friday and they could be day 2 of Omaha if all supers went 3 games or 4 days.

but pretty much anything can happen, but under no condition would 1/8 and 3/6 start in OMAHA on the same day.

well i thought he was talking about regionals because that is what he said.
I see the radar is looking slightly better than it did earlier today and that was my interest in this thread.

one Super Regional went into Tuesday and was forced to start Day one in Omaha, I can't remember but it happened recently.

thats good to hear. the forecast is still calling for high rain chances. but hopefully everything stays to the south of us.

Yeah that. thanks that "Super" Regional finished Tuesday and played Day one in Omaha.

It looks like the 'spin' from the upper level low pressure area that is dragging all of this rain out of the Gulf is centered just to the northeast of Lake Charles now. It's actually moving east pretty quickly now as opposed to earlier today when it was almost stationary.
If this keeps up, I wouldn't be surprised to see the forecast for Friday updated with a lower % of rain chances.

Yeah, hard to say anything 48+ hours away. maybe tomorrow we will have better idea on Friday's weather.

We just need to get peej to come in here and say the whole regional will get rained out and BOOM, we're in the clear

Mother nature owes us from the Alabama series when baton rouge got hammered with rain and laffy stayed dry.
