Programs aren't broken until they start losing the games you are supposed to win over mediocre to bad teams and recruiting falls off a cliff.

He was the guy but the booster told him to get Jimbo and here's the money to get him. So don't blame him for the booster wanting to pay Jimbo that money.

But they will graduate and LSU has a high graduating rate since he's been here. The ND plan is working . we cant get real athletes but we can graduate.

I’m not talking just CFP era, Kelly’s been coaching for two decades and doesn’t have a major bowl win. I don’t think he’s a horrible coach but he’s past his prime and his prime wasn’t that great. We need to dump him like A&M dumped Jimbo. I know his contract is a bitch but you can’t put a price on wasting years on mediocre football. Deboer just bullied Kelly into submission. Saturday night was an embarrassment

No not USCe or ATM at home we own them here, but the road games @ Bama for sure, OM for sure, CLumson for sure, probly @ OK, maybe @ Vandy?

but firing a coach three quarters into his 3rd season, who has won 70% of his games or whatever it is, just is not realistic or really desirable.
That's going 7-3, and remember we have 3 cupcakes on the schedule every year.
LSU's expectations are MUCH higher than that.

The expectations aren't in line with reality. LSU has never been a year in and year out 11 and 12 win team.

Woodward gave the original 10 year $75 million contract.
The next guy oversaw the terrible extension in 2021 that made the Jimbo situation the bad situation that everyone remembers.

You then have no memory of the Miles Decline… we recovered from that.
One thing that is different now vs then, the incoming talent was decreasing back then. The incoming talent now is better than what is on the team.
