How do you explain all the OL departures AFTER 2016?
Les called them and said they should leave?
Since jackass never answered this for you. He's said before that those players transferred because they were backups and wouldn't get a chance to play. When everyone said "that's depth", he disagreed and said something to the effect that those players wouldn't have helped us against Troy or something silly like that. I was really hoping to let you get it from the horse's mouth because it would have been much better.
Maybe he will come by and "correct" me.

You people are crazy. Aranda’s defense gave up the fewest TDs in the nation his first year at LSU. Last year, we were very thin at most positions, except the line. But the defense was not horrible. I would like to see the defense create more turnovers, however.

Uh oh. Space Cowboy is gonna have a field day with this. Get ready to get hit with being called a moonbat or a genius. He's gonna drop some big words like moreover, indeed, henceforthwith and some other shite he thinks makes him sound smart.

you act like this is hard to do. you post about 1 subject. propping up o. there isnt a single post about the actual playing of the sport. your entire post history is an ode to rozy finch.
He does defend O a lot, but he probably does start more threads about the nuts and bolts of LSU football than anyone else on here. Look at this very thread for example. It took a quick turn into a bash O thread but how is that Tiger Ree's fault? He started a thread, like most of the threads he starts, about something interesting related to LSU football. I generally like the subject matter of the threads he starts, just that they quickly turn into long drawn out shite threads that aren't worth reading because of all the anti O's who jump in and turn them into bash O threads.

I would agree with that Willie. I do enjoy the threads he starts and certainly appreciate his enthusiasm.

go read the thread I pulled the quote from. He doubled down in the thread after people laughed at him and asked him what his problem with Aranda was. That’s not the only time he’s shifted blame to Aranda. It’s kind of his thing. Anything to take blame off his idol.

He posts these threads only to prop up his idol. Go check how many of these threads he posted before Orgeron was hired. You won’t find many if any.

Troy had a bye week after lsu and wasnt missing a single starter or backup against south alabama and actually South alabama was missing starters
You don't think they may have been beaten up after playing LSU? LSU generally looks like they were physically beaten up after the Bama games every year regardless of injuries. Like you say, they had zero 4 and 5 star players. I would bet they were playing the game of their lives and putting their bodies on the line and came away from the game feeling ecstatic for the win but also physically hurting.

And then had a bye week to recover

I don't know, maybe, but really don't care why. At least they are about LSU football and more interesting than the other threads on here, at least to me. If threads about the different position groups, players, spring camp, coaching, etc. make LSU football and coach O look good, so be it.

It's usually not the message, but the messenger. Ree built a little reputation for himself after Les got fired, and posters got tired of it. He's been on TD for years, but only became really active once Orgeron was named interim coach.
He turned the Coaching Changes board into a full blown propaganda machine for Orgeron, and nitpicked every other suggested candidate's record. Even when he stuck his foot in his mouth, he just tripled-down.

Troy had a bye week after the LSU game, hence they had 2 full weeks to recover. Moreover, as Space Cowboy has pointed out, LSU was without many of it's first string players, therefore the players that were able to play were not fit to beat up an opponent in such a fashion. Nonetheless, it was not Orgeron's fault, it was indeed the previous head coach in Les Miles as he is the one responsible for leaving the program in such a unworthy state which was not conducive for beating the mighty men of Troy.

they had a bye week and not a single player on there roster had a questionable injury report.
south alabama had starters out.

Final Analysis
With a bye week and extra time to prepare for this matchup, Troy shouldn’t have a letdown after the big victory against LSU. The Trojans are loaded with firepower on offense, and the line should continue to improve in the second half of the season. With Silvers and Chunn leading the way, it’s tough to see South Alabama’s defense generating enough stops in the second half to keep this one close. The Jaguars are giving up over six yards per play, and the balanced attack by Troy will create plenty of headaches for Jones and coordinator Kane Wommack. When South Alabama has the ball, getting consistent and mistake-free production out of Garvin is a must. The Trojans lead the Sun Belt in rush defense, so finding lanes on the ground won’t be easy. If Garvin can connect downfield a couple of times, that should allow the Jaguars to find a few more openings for their running backs. That’s a lot of ifs on South Alabama’s sideline. Troy is the better team, has more firepower on offense and should pull away for a comfortable victory in the second half.

Reality is likely that this will be a good defense with some holes, and a mediocre to bad offense this season.
I agree with this, except I see no holes in this defense. Shelvin will probably prove to be a bust, but we’ll still have a great front 7, great safeties, and solid corners. If we suffer injuries at corner I could see it being a problem

not how this works at lsu. scramble for that backup from a non-competitive, lower tier team from the MAC or something.
