So your argument is Dave Aranda was a horrible coach last year because he had an overabundance of depth on the team according to rickdaddy last year and no way should he have allowed Moo State to score those 37 points on his defense and Troy State to score those 24 points on his defense.

No question Aranda deserves a lot of blame for both of those losses, but the ultimate blame is always on the head coach. The CURRENT head coach that is.
Just like Will Wade deserves the blame for his bad losses this year and the team he inherited is WAAAYYYYYYY worse than what O inherited.

O was hired November 26th
and
Troy had a bye week after lsu and wasnt missing a single starter or backup against south alabama and actually South alabama was missing starters

for the last month he has been saying O couldnt address the Oline depth because he wasnt officially hired until late January and then in the same ppst he gives O credit for the 2017 class.
he conjured up this scenario that troy played South alabama the week after lsu and lsu beat troy up and they lost to South alabama because we beat them and they were missing starters.
a quick 30 second google produces facts that troy had a bye week after lsu and werent missing a single starter or backup.

So you are saying that the severe lack of depth O inherited from Les Miles last year was not the real reason we lost those two games last year but instead we lost those two games last year because Dave Aranda dropped the ball and allowed both those teams to run roughshod over his defense. Wow, I have seen a lot of stupidity on the rant since O was hired, but this just might take the cake.

Btw, as much as I love me some Dave Aranda, he got completely out coached by Dan Mullen. Mullen had the LSU defenders looking silly.

I agree with this. Add in the fact that his favorite thing to say is “OneTeam, One Heartbeat”. He beat that drum when he was named interim, and I immediately liked it.
Until he started calling out players in the face of adversity. Nick Brossette fumbles, he says “I don’t want the 3rd string back to get the ball right there”. Or the infamous “we don’t have any kickers, but I’m going to get one”. Then it dawned on me...O doesn’t really believe in the one team, one heartbeat mantra. If he did, he wouldn’t call out individuals on a team in public. When fingers were getting pointed at O, he started pointing in other directions.
Now when I hear him talk, he sounds more like a politician than a football coach. This is why I’m concerned about the future of LSU football under his leadership.
