So what was the excuse for Ole Miss? 44% completion.

I thought we won that game in heroic fashion?

The guy that can’t spell knows without a doubt we should replace the #2 qb in the SEC with someone else. Keep in mind he’s #2 in his first year as a starter. Hmmm interesting

It blows my mind that people think a portal QB is going to come in and take us to the promised land in one season. Miami has Cam Ward on the Heisman podium and they did not even make the CFP

Exactly, Nuss is a wuss.... He retreats from the pocket when he feels pressure.

JD5 has ruined this fanbase forever, much like "da Joe Brady offense."

I know. So did all those winning teams. We should expect less, right?

and that was without even playing a top 25 team.

I know it right...that bastard....how dare him retreat when a convoy of players are coming right up the middle of our busted OL. He should be able to stand in there, hell, step up actually, and despite the jail break rush, calmly scan the field, find the open rec, and step up nicely into a perfectly thrown ball.

that throw that he made on 4th down to send the game into overtime....wow....not just saying this, but it might be the best throw I've ever seen, college, nfl, or otherwise. The rec was nowhere close to open, and with the game on the line, Nuss anticipates, and throws an absolute dart to a point on the field where only his rec could catch it. Didn't really see the difficulty in real time, but replays and Mcelroy showed what an incredible play it was.

You. YOU are the reason games like Madden are bad. It makes fat dumbasses think they know football.

No offensive line has had success replacing 4 guys, 2 of them being tackles.

2022 line started true freshman tackles. And Frazier was new at guard. I’m sure there may have been a 4th that I can’t remember.

Stop being so dramatic.

Replacing 4 starters on the OLine is a very good time to replace the Oline coach. Davis is not sustainable. This past year was a disaster to anyone paying attention. LSU needs a new OC, Oline coach, ST coach (or the one that coached the Okla game) We can't keep doing the same things and expecting different results.

Hell, replace that 5th OLman too, he was only rated as the worst C in the P4.

Burrow and Nuss seem like comparable runners. Nuss just seems terrified to get hit.

Mark these words. The need for a dual threat quarterback and the fact that we do not have one in Nuss is going to be the number one topic on Tigerrant in the early part of the 2025 season.

Oh no! Posters on tRant might complain. We have to do something!

We need a center who doesn't get put on his arse, and false starts 3-4 times a game. Oh, and two tackles.

We do. Not looking forward to backfoot throws, fake injuries after interceptions and fumbles, and being scared to run. A mobile QB would be awesome

Yeah let's throw away our 5th year senior returning qb. Some of you are absolutely delusional.

Yeah, because having options to win football games is out of the question. Especially when you live and die with one QB because you “like” him and he’s loyal. If the current QB isn’t cutting it and you have a better option on the sidelines, you bench the starter and go with a different option. Delusional? No. Textbook coaching. Yes. A mobile QB in this day and age is required.
