That would fall under the duties of a hitting instructor. Which we also lack.

No. Just get them out there in fall ball and remind them all of the basic shite they learned in Dixie Youth/Little League and high school.

This is what fans don’t realize. Most head coaches teach this. CPM is 99% manager and 1% teacher.

We might need a base running coach, but if you’re a D1 baseball player and still can’t run bases that’s on you

That base running mistake is on the runner, not the coach. At this level and as a baserunner, you don't need the coach telling you how far to get off and when to come back. The only thing my 3rd base coach would tell me is if he wanted me to go on a ground ball hit in the infield, otherwise, we knew what we had to do, especially playing at the college level.
