South Carolina's defense is pretty good… We will learn a lot this weekend

True, however I don't think SC puts up a lot of points on our D so the pressure won't be there to push the offense. But, your point is well taken SC does play defense--interested to see if we change up the offense any.

Almost every season in CFB, some team has a debilitating loss only to recover and win it all. '19 would be an exception but that is atypical.

But for that to be us, Nuss has to get healthy. I don't think we can run the table with an unhealthy Nuss or MVB. Maybe.

The other concern lurking in the shadows is CBK. Let me 'splain.

In '22, we had a dramatic win over Bama. But instead of using this as a springboard to the next level, we followed it up with a terrible game vs Arky (albeit a win but Jayden was 8-15-1 for 86 yds), A blowout embarrassment to Aggie. And another vs UGA. We collapsed.

In '23, we had arguably the worst D in our history. How did a HC with 30+ years of HC experience not see this coming?

In '24, we were on a roll until Aggie swapped QBs. Ok, we weren't prepared for the dual-threat QB. Good thing we had a week off to get ready for Bama and their dual-threat QB. What should've been a glorious night of LSU football in TS at night, turned into a top-5 all-time TS embarrassment. And then followed that with another egg vs UF. Three u-g-l-y you ain't got no alibi losses in a row. We imploded.

All of this to say, CBK needs to demonstrate he can coach an entire season in this league. Thus far, he's shown the opposite.

I think as ksu fans we’re not used to losing games but still making relevant post season. Games. 2011 undefeated (until..)
2019- undefeated
2007- first 2 loss team to play for natty and it took a miracle for us to make it.
2003- 22 years ago. 1 loss

Could it be that with the parity and a new o line and some injuries we could be a really good team that makes the playoff, and we could be a 8-4 team that injuries caught up to with so many other teams that are good enough as well.

We don’t have to be perfect, we just have to be better than the other team in the other side of the field for 7 more weekends (maybe 6) (maybe even just 5).

Here’s to going 3-0 over next 3 weeks, 2 of which are at home and the road game is a winnable game.

A&M game may decide if we can make the playoff or not. If you can get through these 3, I think we make the playoff.
It’s at home and that’s all we need.

Bama prob a loss but I think with a playoff spot on the line our defense helps us pull out a win.

Let’s fricking geaux tigers.

That’s pretty much what I think too and to be playing for a playoff spot on the last week of the year is also a step in the right direction. Also, teams are allowed to improve throughout the year. Look at the saints today.

Offense needs to get healthy or healthy enough and be able to put up 1 more point than OU. Doesn’t take 45 points.

It won’t be a lock but I’m sure at least one will get in!

Glad to see you’re coming around

Aggies can’t win in Death Valley. Hopefully it will be a top 10 matchup

Look at the big picture , unless this offense does a complete turnaround, they’ll lose 3 or 4 more games .
