Two weeks, one week, one day, its all irrelevant. Les doesn't game plan for opponents. He just lines his team up the same exact way every game and expects them to "execute". If plays don't work, the players didn't execute well enough.

The two are not mutually exclusive. We were crushed and we had a stubborn and uninspired scheme that was doomed to fail .

Honest question - how do you think the game-planning meetings go during the two weeks preparing for Bama.

I'd argue that those meetings take no more than 5 minutes because there apparently is no focus on identifying the opponent's weakness and trying to exploit it. Isn't that what coaches are paid to do??? I just don't see any evidence that ours do it.

Why are you surprised.
I'm not. Les proved that he is still in the rut a lot of our fans had hoped he'd gotten out of. I've always supported him but that was downright terrible coaching. Almost like no effort was given to develop a formidable game plan.

He didn't gaf either. Saban, not surprisingly, had the perfect plan to dominate LSU and embarrass LF. Sadly we're stuck with that for the time being.

And I'd love for a reporter to actually question and ask Miles some of these hard hitting questions about his preparedness and game planning and hold him accountable. But no, our local reporters are all a bunch of dumbass pussies

As much as I agree with you, have you ever seen an O-line so completely, utterly, thoroughly, totally destroyed as LSU's on Saturday?

Because the better team can be fricking beaten. Look at Ole Miss. Alabama is better, but they're only that much better when you play into their defensive strengths. You can't do the same shite week over week. Teams game plan for each opponent differently.

Actually its not...it's cathartic.

Lower your expectations with Miles...you'll live longer.

It's laughable that Alabama went from flawed, undisciplined pussies to the 2013 Seahawks in two weeks.

Also reminds me of 2011

Alabam does a good job of making themselves look like world beaters. But LSU constantly laying eggs vs them certainly pushes that narrative

The game plan is why that happens though. Run blocking is tiring.

Alabama is not a better team. Both teams are filled with 4 and 5 star players. Both teams have loads of talent.

the difference in this game and the past 4 games was preparation. Bama was prepared to exploit LSU's weaknesses. Les Miles has still has no idea what Bama's weaknesses are.

Simply by watching Bama's game once you can see they are very strong up the middle. And teams can move the ball on the edge and through the air. Anyone ca see this. Why can't Miles and Cam?

LSUs defense held their own for 3 quarters. But after being on the field for 30 minutes they were gassed and could not stop Bama on the last drive.

Because Les is dumb enough to play into their strengths over and over again.

Yes OM one with a 5-0 TO margin. Look up how often a team -5 in TO's wins. Most teams have 11-14 possessions a game. It is rare that a team minus 3 TOs doesn't win.

That's the sort of assessment FANS make. A man who gets $4.5 million annually should have known better by studying game tapes.

More correctly - the game was between 2 teams of equal caliber and class. The better-coached team won. That, my dear friends, seems to be something that the rose-colored crowd will never get over.... or admit.

I think that's correct. Nobody is as good as Alabama was on Saturday night unless they're properly prepared to be that good with the necessary dose of largesse. We provided the largesse.

Miles can't admit to himself that he can't do what Nick Saban does better than Nick Saban does it.

What he can do better is recruit. We routinely have incredible players that are under utilized.
