You mean you didn’t see?

They “fought hard”. Fighting hard is not getting your arse whipped on the boards like that. That was a huge missed opportunity

Piss poor effort on the boards. Got annihilated there and on second chance points.

We were also tied 67-67 with over 2 minutes left and decided to exact some true X's and O's with Baker jacking up a 3, etc.

I genuinely thought with 30 seconds left I was looking at a team that had no clue what they were supposed to do

I get downvoted to hell anytime I say it but Baker plays the paint weak, slow, and unsure of himself.

Pointed it out after the last win — at least Dean gives you a bit of physicality / commands a space & moves well on D.

Cook has also been pretty bad. You need those guys to be better or they just need to sit… we’re getting more out of any other player lately.

Thats where we lost it...on the defensive end. a&m kept swatting the ball out to the key area and were getting all the balls.

That is why we lost. They send four to the offensive boards. Most of the time we had one. They tapped the ball out.

Our guys are a bit soft.

We did take several iso or no pass threes down the stretch.

Our guys were blocking out, but aTm were throwing up bricks that were hitting the back of the rim and bouncing back to the top of the key. They got nearly every lucky bounce off of offensive rebounds in the second half. LSU players didn’t stand a chance.

Yep. This and which led to 24 second chance points to LSU’s 0. Dang shame because they still had a shot to win it but kept jacking up bad 3 point shots.

This.....everyone knew this was A&M's strength. And that they would not be caught by surprise this time.

For me the No. 1 reason for our recent success IMHO was that out of the blue seemingly we had started to board and play with some toughness - including at College Station.

That was not the case tonight and again what we thought was our best player Cook had a sub-par game and still we take a 2-point lead late and then proceed to make the worst offensive decisions we made all night all together at the end.

Angle Reese needs to give the guys a lesson on rebounding. That could be a huge difference. Energy, "want" and need.

Not true. We were crashing the boards but Garcia would tap it out if he couldn’t grab it. A&M practices this and it’s why they are one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the SEC.
