When you are building a roster from nothing, going after bench players first makes no sense. And if this guy is one of the best players on the team, this team will be worse than last year.

Wade has made the NCAA Tournament 8 of his 12 seasons as a HC (would be 9 if the 2020 tournament wasn't canceled). McMahon, on the other hand, had the 16th ranked transfer class last season (per 247) and finished dead f-ing last in the SEC...again! So I think it's a bit of a stretch to say this team will be worse that last year even if this guy is one of the better players on the team. Mostly because it would be exceedingly difficult to be WORSE than last year.

I just hope LSU is in a position financially to recruit and sign STARTERS or 6th man from other tournament teams. LSU does not need to pay 2nd team players from other teams, especially average teams, tons of money to finish at the bottom of the SEC again. Go big or go home.

Pretty sure a dropout in Louisiana is the same as a dropout in any school system. Unless you're referring to Louisiana schools giving a lower education while set individual was in school for the time they were, and reference towhat little information they retained from a poor educational system that was never up to standard to begin with?

They are pulling for us to lose. Celebrating what they think is an empty roster and now as the roster is filled they will find ways to bash every player. This was all predicted, these poster have never been LSU fans.

In Wade's last season at LSU he signed a 6'8 transfer who started only 8 games for his prior team, where he averaged 7 ppg, 6 rpg, shot 24% from 3 and 57% from the FT line. His name is Tari Eason.
No one is saying Dioubate is going to be Eason. But to dismiss a guy who clearly can have some value to a team is foolish.
At LSU the following year that guy averaged 17 ppg, 6 rpg, shot 36% from 3 and 80% from the FT line en route to becoming a 1st team All SEC player and 17th pick in the NBA draft.

I'm referring to pre injury team last year...he wouldn't have played much ND didn't play for ky the second half of season.
