i support this thread. we lost because of lack of run production and bonehead errors. it's baseball, we got the hits, but they weren't at the right time.

Thank you for pointing this out. We only get 6 hits, strike out 17 times on Friday and win 3-2. We get 4 hits yesterday and win 4-3. We get 10 hits today and don't strike out one time and lose. Baseball is not about the stats during the game. It is about timely hitting, timely pitching and clutch performances. Where are all those people saying we can't hit the ball today?

I wouldn't mind that if we could do that and win all the time. But anyone in there right mind knows you not gonna continue to win with 4 hits a game.
Hopefully we'll get it going. This team would be scary good with good hitting.

10 hits isn't bad, but none were for extra bases on we only took 3 walks. State only had 9 hits and one walk (with two hbp), but they hit 5 doubles and a HR. We only have three regular players slugging over .400, and two of those are a fluke due to the amount of singles they hit.

No it isn't. We didn't curbstomp MSU fri or sat. Knowledgeable fans will address a weakness even in a win. Our hitting is our weakness.

Through 9 innings on Sunday we had 1 run.
If LSU only scores 6 runs every weekend, I don't care how good the LSU pitching is, we'll likely finish below .500 for SEC play.
