You do realize that not every NP feels this way right? We don't all go around wearing long white coats trying to act like MDs. I was required to get a white coat and place my credentials on it. If I had a choice, I wouldn't wear one.
Not every NP is for this, some of us understand our limitation...

I can only speak for my experience. My class work was not 100% online. I actually felt better sitting in a classroom with an instructor. Online classes just seem useless to me. I'm assuming the State Board of Nursing sets some sort of standards for school admission and curriculum but I don't believe...

The NP vs. PA argument should have it's own thread. But I know several new graduate PAs that feel the same way I do about practicing fresh out of school. There's no way they would want to practice without supervision.
But I would pump the brakes on saying that PAs are so far and above superior i...

Well then I didn't realize that. Either way I'm not disagreeing with you. I agree more hours of training and clinical work is necessary but I didn't write the bill.
I also agree that some of these NPs/DNPs are way crazy with this shite and need to take a step back and remember their role in healt...

I was just pointing out that they actually have to practice under the supervision for a certain period of time and then be approved to practice in a designated rural shortage primary care area.
You are acting like NPs can just go straight from graduation to practice without supervision and that'...

Did any of you actually read the bill? You can't just graduate from an online NP school and start practicing where ever you want. I recently graduated NP school. The training was not even remotely close to what MDs receive. I'm not trying to be a doctor. I've worked as an RN in the ER for almost 10 ...
