Not really but you are kind of hamstrung in the passing game with milroe.
I think he is much better than Sloan.
He had them at 33.9 ppg

KC does this all the time. They players for KC get to draw up their own play every week.

Smart for the mentally challenged. Comfort breeds success

Exactly, this is something they should’ve been doing since week 1. The QB should always have say so in the play calling/ game planning because he’s the only one actually out on the field seeing it.

Yeah it’s just a little funny that they realized in week 11 that it’s best to run plays that your players are most comfortable with. Specifically the quarterback

Payton used to let Brees pick 5-10 plays he liked for the game plan every week, this isn’t weird at all

Lots of Crossing routes too

It’s one thing to let pro players do this. But this reeks of “most of you guys make more than most of the coaches so we’ll let you draw up some of your own plays”

Herman all day. Some are just better as a coordinator opposed to a head coach.

This is no different than when LSU used TDP to run counter on almost every single 3rd down against Florida in 2021. Take what the defense gives and if it works, keep going until it doesn't.
Based on what CBK said about "too much information" during the game, it sounds like guys were overcomplicating things on defense but you can say that probably affected the offense. My gripe is that we run God awful routes and plays on 3rd or 4th down.
Running a shotgun snap RB draw on 4th and 1, and having receivers run especially short of the line to gain in a 3rd down situation, or even running the bubble screen that has not been effective since the South Carolina game. These are the head scratching plays that show why Sloan got let go from calling plays at LA Tech.
