Just like last year, this LSU team will have to depend on some pitcher to do something he hasn’t done so far to advance. Who that is, I don’t know.

But if just one 3rd pitcher steps up, look out…

You're exactly right..spot on.....that's exactly what's it's going to take ....b/c once this gets into Sunday or Monday...who knows....and exactly how good is UNC so far down the line

Honestly I’d laugh my arse off it it was someone nobody ever expected to play like Chase Shores.

If that guy was secretly getting ready and still has his stuff, it could be an awesome postseason

I agree 100%. I just think it’s more likely they’ll be able to do that against Wofford than UNC. It’s absolutely a huge gamble, but it’s going to take some risk taking to get out of the Regional.

It is, but if you get out of the regional, the super regional becomes a lot more winnable. And it may even be at the Box.

Either DBU or WVU could win the Tucson regional, and that would mean LSU hosting a super regional

If DBU wins their regional they will host Supers over us.

Isn’t it better than Stillwater or Tallahassee? Not saying it’s a cakewalk but only 13 hr drive for fans traveling

I think I read a stat UNC has only lost 2 games at home all season

Good. Probability tells me there arse is about to lose when it matters.

When tRant really learns baseball and how it works, I think we will be a better world. Lol

LSU has made it to Omaha in back to back seasons ONCE since Pulmonary took over in 2007.

Why do you guys think UNC is so bad they are a top 5 team in the nation that won’t be easy
Saying easier path isn't the same as saying easy.

It's just saying that out of all the paths available it's the easiest one. And that's an opinion as well.

Not saying 100% we get thru it but this bracket is best outcome we could ask for. If we win Chapel Hill then play Arizona regional winner prolly either Cats or Dallas Baptist.

Disagree, there are much easier paths. See Alabama or South Carolina’s or Duke’s or Indiana sts, or Vandys

If LSU can't beat UNC with Sunday pitchers then we don't belong in supers. Simple as that. All we can hope for is that our bats explode like the did for USC

If LSU is using this past Sundays pitchers against UNC, they're already in trouble to start

If we need to burn an ace to beat Wofford, we don’t deserve to make a Super.

This is a fun game. Lsu doesnt deserve to be in a super if they cant beat chase burns, hagen smith, and Ryan Johnson

LSU pitched Skenes vs Tulane last season. Jump is starting vs Wofford

Did you watch them against Wake in the ACC tournament? They have some guys who can flat out hit! Don’t want to get down and hope for some magic. LSU has to come out and set the tone. Feel good but it won’t be a cake walk.
