With an average of 5 yards a pass which means he's lost confidence in his deap ball. Sorry, that won't win games.

That’s because the lot of you don’t know what you’re watching.

MVB isn’t the answer. Neither is Nuss.

Both of them are bad. Sorry? Nuss can be 18-21 all he wants. I don’t give a shite if when he gets inside the 20 he shits his pants.

He has done this both years. bullshite checkdowns on 3rd down that have no prayer for a first down but help the completion %.

He is a stat whore just like Ben Simmons was. Simmons would get a nice line and vanish the last 10 minutes.

We benched him because he’s a really good QB at all the required tasks except running and passing.

I feel really bad for Nuss. This guy had to have been hurt the whole year. 3 years ago in the SEC Championship game he threw for over 300 yds in 1/2 the game against a National Championship team in the Georgia Dome. He was throwing bombs over the top this guy was incredible. I can’t get myself to believe that someone can regress this bad without having something majorly wrong with him physically.

Ya I do t think he regressed. All last year and off season our coaches and most idiots on the rant would shot on him for being a gunslinger and throwing picks. I’d bet all off season Kelly and the staff beat it into his head to be conservative and not take risk, so techically the idiots on here and the coach got exactly what they wanted on here by programming him all off season this way. We are talking about a guy who went from having 8 games over 300 yards to zero this year. To me it appears we made him into something he’s not this year instead of letting him play to a style he’s good at Idiots here can say these false claims like he was lazy this off season but it’s all bullshite cause nobody on here was there are around him, it’s just a lie created by the haters. An even better one is they act like his arm strength left. Outside of being hurt, how does that even happen? Like did he develop muscular dystrophy over the summer lmao?! In the end, this, everyone here cried about the turnovers but now they crying cause he’s not the gunslinger like last year. It’s just hate for a guy cause they never liked him from the start for some odd reason

I’m sorry but frick that. He’s not a kid. He will turn 24 in February and is already a millionaire.

This is the same guy who’s daddy called Coach O to politic for the Arkansas start in 2021 because he didn’t care about burning his redshirt (this was well reported at the time) only to opt to backtrack on that a month later for the bowl game. I really don’t care about opting out of the bowl game to preserve a redshirt. However, I do care about daddy calling a coach for playing time. It was chickenshit then and chickenshit now.

No need to feel bad for him. He’s an adult, college educated, millionaire. His future is up to him.

OP sez:

"I want to compliment Coach Wilson. That took balls but he played to win the game!"

I was liking, agreeing with the post......until that statement above!

Come now dog.....It took NO balls - just mere S A N I T Y!

And, Wilson waited TOO LONG to put MVB in!!

"Played to Win the Game" would have required benching Nuss @ End of First Qrt, maybe even earlier. Or how about STARTING MVB.

Many people have commented, feel that LSU would have very likely WON the game if MVB would have Started.

The bottom line is that Kelly got FIRED for exclusively playing Nuss. MVB should have been getting playtime, several series EVERY GAME. But where the Season got Destroyed was Not putting MVB in mid-way in 2nd Qrt vs Ole Miss.

You HAVE TO - MUST - be accutely aware of the intricate Ebbs & Flows of M O M E N T U M. And then MANAGE/CONTROL those Key Moments to cause a SHIFT or Spark (something) to Gain or Maintain Momentum, or Break your opponents!!

The critical Moment (root word for Momentum) to either have a successful or failed SEASON for LSU was the 2nd Qrt vs Ole Miss. Kelly has NO knowledge, awareness of using/controlliing Momentum. No guaranty that MVB would have made the difference, but it was CERTAIN FAILURE by Exclusively Playing Garrett Nussmeier. I and many others knew that, and the Historical Results prove, back it!!

Think MVB wants to keep his redshirt and move on? Feel badly for him if he burns it in this miserable season and worse if he’s injured because of poor OL play.
