he would have played Coleman better than Zy or Duce
The one play that Harris could have proven this against Grambling, he didn't.

Maason would have helped pressure Travis enough to also affect a few of those third and longs
The 30 or so plays that Smith played against Grambling, he did not get pressure.

Kelly will admit they used Perkins wrong. Had he been appropriately used, it would have disrupted Travis game.
The times that Perkins rushed, he didn't disrupt anything.

Finally, I know for a fact that Diggs would have gotten a TD at the goal line on the opening drive.
Maybe.

I hope we get a rematch in the Playoff or NY6 bowl.

We beat FSU had we not come out at the half looking like the first time the team had ever played a game of football in their life.

At the very least we keep the game respectable.

D tackle was one of the few bright spots in that game so I disagree with the Maason Smith part.

Even if all 3 played, we still get beat by the better team

We were winning the game in the 3rd quarter. We should have been up at least 27-14 at halftime. We had a good enough team to win, but we blew it in the first half, didn’t execute, and let them back in the game. Then, we came out totally flat in the second half and proceeded to fall apart while FSU put the hammer down.

We have a good enough team to beat them, but they were, by far, the better team that day and blew us out. I’m not sure what difference those guys would have made unless they would have gotten everyone else to focus and play up to their potential. That’s the job of the coaches and we had a full team meltdown in the second half. I really don’t see how you can blame anyone but the coaches for what happened.

They need to do better.

I don’t understand why they used a prime time to 10 matchup to figure out things that we already knew.
I know they are giant steps above me in football knowledge, but I feel like everyone called out Perkins in the middle as a mistake.

Let it go dude. We got our arse handed to us. FSU is a legitimate championship caliber team. Can we get there before end of year? Sure, but we have to run the table now including beating Georgia or Tennessee in SEC Championship.

Wait, you're telling me that Smith forgot how to play football? He lost it all with a torn ACL? Have you watched him his freshman year?

Honestly, if Diggs was healthy and able to play he most likely gets that opening play catch and potentially scores on that opening play. Diggs is faster than Tre Bradford. But even if he doesn't I agree that he scores on the goal line.

The rest of the game the run game would not have been much different because Frazier is still in the game at Right Guard and he was getting bullied and getting no push all night long.

The rest of your points are fair but I really don't think Harris makes that much of a difference defensively. Also Maason Smith is clearly hurt so not sure how effective he would have been to be a difference after seeing him hobble last week.

I do think the game is different but not sure we actually squeak out a victory but the game would have been different for sure.

If it had been a 10 point game, you could make this thread. It would still be pointless and probably wrong, but I guess you could make it. Given what actually happened, it's ridiculous. Take the L and move on.

Florida State also made a ton of self unforced errors. Look up the penalty difference in the first half. LSU had 0. So you could do the same thing with FSU- without those penalties they win by even more.

We would have had to play a perfect game for the second half. Florida State is a top 3-team this year. Will prob make the CFP this year.

Lol no defense can sit in a soft zone for more than five seconds without something opening up. Until House can adjust, it doesn’t matter who plays.
