No. All we have to do is play to the level we have been playing at. An unexpected loss or two won't hurt us. It happens in basketball. Sometimes you beat teams you shouldn't beat and sometimes you upset teams you are expected to lose to. The committee knows that. What happens in the SEC tourney won't matter unless we go on a losing streak before the SEC tourney and are on the bubble, which at this time we aren't.
I disagree. LSU is still on the outside looking in. Losing a couple of winnable road games isn't going to help. LSU is a team on the rise in many media circles and you need to sustain that. If LSU loses 2 winnable road games and goes 0-1 in SECT, very unlikely they make NCAAT.

LSU is 4th in the SEC;if they stay that way, they are in...right?

If we win all the games we should win, we'll be in.

Another victory over Kentucky or a win vs UF and we're golden. I can guarantee you not one team in CBB wants to play us right now.

This team is reminding me of the Stromile/Jabari days.

Most exciting team at LSU to watch since then IMO.

the 2005-06 team would like a word with you.

What about this team makes you feel comfortable in saying we can win on the road

That is the question.

Ole Miss has a good conference record, but they are far from an elite team. It's even debatable if they are a good team. And until we can prove we can beat someone decent on the road, it's debatable whether we are a good team too.

We really need to go 4-1 in these next five games. Then even with losses to Kentucky and Florida, if we can win a game in the conference tournament we should be in.

The announcers keep saying Kentucky is already in, don't really get that , how many loses do they have 5 or 6 , and last 2 to unranked teams with low rpi,s , so why are they already in and lsu considered out ?

LSU still needs to win some games on the Road to get a chance at a NCAA bid.

This is absolutely the target IMO.

12-6, and we should be good.

I think we could easily make it up to an 8 or a 9 seed if we keep playing at this level

Who cares? The only thing they need to do is get in the tourney. Seeding don't matter. You got to beat the best to beat the best. Since LSU basketball hasn't been in the tourney too often lately, I just want them to get in ANY WAY POSSIBLE!!!!

I'd rather be an 11 seed than an 8 seed anyways.

I'll cut somebody if we end up with an 8 or 9 and get bumped in the 2nd round to the eventual winner.
