For the next two weeks expect idiocy to prevail.
Our friend Sense of Proportion will be going on vacation for a bit.
No reason or historical perspective will be tolerated.

The following will be adopted as Articles of Faith by The Congenitally Disgruntled:

* Mett's not really any good.
* Les will never (insert hysterical premise here).
* Our offensive problems are incorrectable.
* Tiger Stadium nachos are consistently over-salted and soggy.
* So and so on ESPN disrespected LSU and all is lost.
* All decriptions of LSU football must also be accompanied with the phrase "Crimson Tide best- ever- all-time -in- history -of- time -space -and- matter"
* Fans left the game early, proof LSU is on the downward slide.
* I told you so, for I alone am the Keeper of LSU Football Knowledge & History and all related things, even though I have recently been demoted from my invaluable position as Condiment Organizer at Winky Dinky Dog.

The more Rantardary changes, the more Rantardary stays the same.
Knock yourselves out, Ladies....

Agree. I actually like these situations. The bottom of the barrel separates itself quite nicely in these times.

The rant after a sloppy victory is what I would imagine forcible sodomy is like.

I agree that the nachos are over salted, and soggy. BUt Disagree that soggy is a bad thing. I personally like my nacho to be half dissolved by the nacho cheese.

Every fan base has the lunatic fringe that would rather be right than the team be good.

We just read the madness of our lunatic fringe here

Always better with some jalapeno juice in the cheez-whiz..Tigerstadium just missing the old PMAC shaggy carpeted concourse walls for folks to wipe their hands clean.

Brilliant.

People discuss (rant) about our deficiencies that almost anyone one can see and you put a label on it.

It remains to be seen if Mett is a solid QB or if our coaches can manage and develop him. The offense is pedestrian and we haven't proven anything yet against a quality team. The o-line is a concern. In terms of intangibles, this teams appears to lack a leader on offense or have much swagger.

Time will tell. For all the talk about putting 1/9/12 behind them, being focused, "unfinished business", etc the execution is not very sharp.

If that's derisive then so be it!
