Is it though? Because almost every team in the league is capable of beating anyone in the league, it makes the whole conference bad? I don't really see it that way.

I thought we would have found some tall big bodied wide receivers and some linemen and some bruising running backs for this year , but the cupboard was bare . I think BK needs to put down the golf clubs and take more responsibility for recruiting and portal management .

We possibly have the dumbest fanbase in all of college football. We went from losing seasons and a complete train wreck of a program after orgeron ran it into the ground. He takes us to the sec championship his first year. Since the last few coaches won championships in their 3rd year then he’s failing apparently. Now, most of these fans wanted the current QB who has been awful, to have started ahead of the Heisman winner. Kelly deserves some criticism for sure. But this fanbase is fricking awful. If this team wants to get better, they need to spend a ton of money on players. Welcome to the new age of college football. Most players don’t give a frick about LSU. They come here for the money or they don’t come here at all.

I never said that Kelly blamed Ed O, but there are sure a bunch of fans that continue to blame Ed O on Kelly’s behalf and seem willing to allow a guy (Kelly) paid $10M a lower level of accountability. It’s year 3, the year in which Kelly challenged the base to judge him and well, here we are in year 3 with losses to a 5 loss USC, 3 loss Bama, 5 loss UF and 3 loss A&M.

I haven’t forgotten the shape the disastrous O left the program, but I am also not wanting to condition myself to just accept the current state under Kelly as it’s not good enough.

We do not have enoughelite talent on defense or offense. It is the roster that is a big part of the problem. Safeties and most CB's are not above average SEC talent. Not sure if they are average SEC talent. Kelly came in with a small roster and then NIL and the portal popped up and confused the situation. WE have to have a better defense to be competative! Bottom line.

I agree! I had high hopes for this year just like everyone else, but lets face it….with a new DC, new first time OC, and a first year starting QB we were going to struggled!!

Kelly has only had 2 full recruiting cycles so 2 more is what I am waiting to see, but I am 53 have something called patience. You kids should learn what that is or you are gonna age really quickly!
