We all need to accept that if the offense struggles, it might go way beyond coaching

Your coaching abilties are constrained by the underlying talent of the players you have

The best coach in the world couldn’t coach up a unit that just doesn’t have “it”

Downvote away but QB stats this scrimmage could indicate the players are restricting Ensminger’s potential as an OC, rather than ensminger restricting the players’ ceiling

Let’s let the players and coaches get through the fricking practices and scrimmages and actually into real live games, before making any conclusions about this team. They have a lot of variables involved in the scrimmages, they aren’t played like actual games

I think we have talent.

I don't think we have a HC with a plan nor leadership resume.

We do have talented coaches leading our defense, but it's the other side that lacks, plus the overarching leadership.

Why does it matter to the team what is being said on a message board?

Seems like you just don't want to hear a differing viewpoint. You should follow politics, you'll fit right in.

GOODNESS do we come up with so many excuses since the O hire.

Would be nice to see a coach who could scheme for reference.

Looks like we are already setting up excuses for the new OC as well I see.

I nominate for the most illogical post of the year. Please remember me during your acceptance speech.

The coaches are the ones who evaluated their talent and recruited them to come to LSU...and then failed to successfully develop them.

Hugh Freeze could take this talent tomorrow and make it a legit contender. Esminger has had all spring and fall to implement an offense. No excuses for the best OC in the country who has been on the staff around these same players forever. Put up or shut up.

Or how about as coaches you develop your talent? Amazing how foreign this concept is to some.

LSU has plenty enough talent to have a good offense

Lane Kiffin would put up a 30 point a game average with this talent.

If our staff can’t get it done this year, it ain’t happening.

Upperclassman QB coached up by one of the best in the business. Deep and talented group of receivers. Devise an offense to get it out of the qbs hand quickly and move it around the field. Teams with much less talent do it every season.
