If it was the same trooper that traveled with us from 05-08…. I could see it. 
One is actually still my Facebook friend. Nothing inappropriate but he was friendly and enjoyed being around the young ladies.

Brian? I don’t know who that is. We had different state trooper escorts than the football team. We had the same guys all four years I was there. But brian wasn’t one of their names.

Yeah it doesn’t sound like it’s that much of a stretch for it to fall under Title IX. He’s a state employee working security for LSU in an official capacity.
That said, if the university immediately opened a Title IX investigation and LSP immediately opened their own investigation, then it doesn’t sound like anything has been swept under the rug. It’s only been 2 weeks since that game. It’s bad PR for the university, but it seems way too soon to really say they mishandled anything. To me it looks worse for LSP.. just my opinion though.

Well I remember a time in like 99 or 00 we were in Florida and we stayed in a city about 30-45 min north of Gainesville every time I went which was both trips in my tenure. Somebody took damn near every room number plate off of every room in that hotel (can’t remember the brand).
Typically Frank Wickes was a fairly level headed guy that didn’t get too worked up even when we fricked up. Usually Linda was the one cursing and hollering at us. However the first practice after that Wickes lit into the whole band…..I’m pretty sure they had people at the Highland Rd Burger King that heard him use several “mother frickers”, “god damns”, and “sons of bitches” that day. Never heard him dress us down like that before or after that. I’m pretty sure they were asked not to stay in that hotel again
ETA I think they may have stole some UF gear (flags, magnets, etc) off of some cars too. I never got wind of who did it, but I think it was a team effort between JUMAS boys and trombones……least that was the rumor at the time.

C'mon man. It isn't that hard. Trooper was working for LSU. Girl was an LSU student. Title IX involves sexual harassment of females by males.

Thanks. I realize now that. Those troopers are actually de-facto employees of the university when they're doing this off-duty gig. Any shenanigans regarding this type of misconduct is definitely Title IX.
