wbrz knows they are fricked. look at all the threads that say liar and reputation ruined in subject line, together.

all that came from cauble and wbrz. you got the libel, and you got the harm, if the a.d. and miles wanted, heads would roll. this news org is at their mercy.

that said, miles still sucks. but not bec he is a liar.

Um, not exactly. Both Miles & the A.D. are public figures, so the bar for libel is much higher as there is anticipation that they may face public scrutiny. They would have to prove, which would be very hard, that the singular statements from the news organization claiming a lie (which are tenuous at best) were damaging to their reputations beyond repair. Even if they did file suit, I don't think it'd even make it past a preliminary review; it'd probably be dismissed.

Athcafalaye has been posting this in multiple threads. I'm glad someone came up with a proper explanation.

Manships own WBRZ and The Advocate.

The Manship School of Mass Communication at LSU.

Yall fill in the blanks between those two thoughts before talking about a lawsuit.

The fact that he says
quote:

He was saying CLOCK IT.

And also says
quote:

He is wearing a headset that is screaming into the ear of his quarterback.

proves the poster is clueless, and the fact that you quoted him makes less than clueless.

Sucks to be you

Its still outrageous.

Seriously?? are y'all willing to throw Cauble under the bus on this....were any of yall on the field? I am assuming the answer to that for 99% of you is NO!

I think you might need to refocus and see who is at fault....not WBRZ or JJ etc etc etc....one person the multi-millionaire himself that we ALL help pay his salary.

The one everyone thought has been so great with his "Have A Great Day" comment. He's been caught. How many games has he come so very close to losing in the last 2 minutes. He has a time issue.

"The Hat" needs to be feared because he has made a joke out of LSU football.

Winning the game? Get the ball at half?

It was a stupid decision to do it so early. IF we get it, he looks great, but IF we don't, then what?

It's football, sometimes gambling shows how much of an idiot you really are. This time, it did just that for Miles.

Not sure if it was discussed in this thread, don't care...but at the time TT caught the ball there was more than 1 second left. So if Miles is running down the sideline yelling clock it right after he caught the ball, in all liklihood there was 2+ seconds left as he was yelling this.

In such a situation, that would be 1 of 2 proper things to do. The clock continued to roll as all home clock operators will do though. I haven't gone back to "sync up" the spiking motion from Miles and the clock to know for sure, just putting it out there.

LSU therefore LSU should not have "clocked it" in time because the referee "felt" LSU did not deserve credit for downing the ball in time, less than a second.
Jef didn't get the snap off in time.
