Damn that was baaad...body language was lethargic, looked completely disjointed. But, the silver lining is that getting tested ain't always bad. Survive and advance. New Game Sunday, flush this one.

MTSU game will be a battle too. 20-game win streak and had an 18-pt comeback win against Louisville today

Yes. I hate you politically but I love you LSU-wise: How do we fix things?

Probably. It's exhausting trying to defend a title even at full strength. Both mentally and physically. Doing it with a 6-7 man rotation would be almost. But S was right (maybe in another thread), sometimes the 1st game is the hardest. Now that it's behind them, maybe they can go on a little run and get a little lucky with matchups like last year.

Why do they all look so mad? Disgusted with their horrible play and mad themselves for that? Not a one of them had a smile of relief or anything at the end. Really weird. None of them trying to rally the troops at the end. What was wrong with them?

Nothing pretty about that but a W is a W. But yes, if we play as lackadaisical as this on Sunday, Wheeler and Boldyreva have the potential to give us all kinds of hell. MTSU playing like they did today vs us playing like we did today—well, we would stand a good chance of being embarrassed.

Games like this get me pissed off—maybe unnecessarily—at other things. First , with a season’s worth of wear and tear on the top seven, it is fricking aggravating to see Bartlett and Velez never moving their asses from the bench with those dumb looks on their faces. They are totally useless and Kent is not that much better.

Also it’s fricking aggravating that it’s obvious Redus thought he was Superman as a recruiter and he got his fricking arse kicked this recruiting season by Staley and others.

I just didn’t like what I saw from the girl’s body language at all today. I think the fall out from the South Carolina game has ripped at the already fragile closeness of this team. Those girls got hammered all over social media, all because Cardosa from South Carolina is a thug. Something happened with someone posting AI images of Angel Reese on X this week, and she was all flustered about it. Then she came out and made 1 field goal today.

But is wasn’t just Angel, all the girls were off today. We had been playing so well leading up to that South Carolina game and then came out and looked horrendous today on offense. Zero continuity or flow on that end of the floor.

He sure was feeling himself all offseason taking credit for working on Angel’s offensive game. So guess what, I blame him for allowing her to shoot flip shots from her hip all season long instead of going up strong and getting the ball in the basket.

They are gonna have to have success in the portal because LSU struck out on everyone, it was Kim’s worst HS class in 20 years and it’s a horrible time because Reese/HVL will potentially both be out the door.

I think between the national title and the health scare, Kim just over delegated and it went badly wrong

If LSU plays like that Sunday Middle T will win by 15. They are a good team and for LSU to move on they better lock in and play better. Poe needs to play point and HVL needs to play the 2 and rotate and give Williams and Poa short rest. Johnson needs to be more aggressive and score more.

LSU women did not play well but would have easily beaten Will Wade’s Mcneese team.

When Flau’jae is on the wing, one of the posts steps over and sets a pick. One step left and she has a good look for a trey.

Why the hell aren’t we doing the same thing for Williams?

This is why you guys get so much crap on the Rant about Will Wade. You are begging for people to throw it in your face when he keeps building winners.
