Well, on a positive note, the narrative was “Flau’jae is gunna be distracted wid all dat rap stuff!”

And yes, her music career is taking off. But she has put in a very focused and workmanlike performance on the court this year.

Not an excuse when you’ve had 2 weeks off

Lack of practice. Williams, Poa limited. Probably Reese due to ankle.

I’ve been very impressed in the progression of her game this season.

Tired legs and minds. No depth

It's the no depth part that will be our undoing. No excuse for being physically tired. We've had two weeks off. There does seem to be a lack of focus. Maybe it's because there's been so much negative publicity about LSU since the USCe game. Supposedly there is yet another hit piece on Kim coming out soon. With all that this team has endured, if we win on Sunday and make it to the elite 8, I'd consider it a very successful season.

If they would have been smiling and high-fiving then the comments would have been "WTH, play that bad and .... bitch, bitch, bitch, blah, blah, blah"

This is why you guys get so much crap on the Rant about Will Wade. You are begging for people to throw it in your face when he keeps building winners.

Or not...

LSU women did not play well but would have easily beaten Will Wade’s Mcneese team.

Dumbest comment. His team had the 4th most wins this season in all of men's basketball. I don't care what level it is, that's a hell of an accomplishment.

Gonzaga might have played their best game of the year last night. Not that I have watched all of their games, but they didn't win their conference tournament. They lost a few games they were not supposed to lose this year, but Clark Kellogg even said last night that Gonzaga played a really good game against a really good McNeese team.

As for as the women, its not uncommon to see a team who struggled in the first round then go deep into the tournament. I am hoping that is the case with this team. All that matters in the tournament is that you get the W and move to the next round.

CKM comments on ESPN after the game “We played selfish ball.” What was she talking about? We were turning the ball over because we passed the ball a bit too much, imo.
Who was selfish? How?

When you watch us play, you can see trips down the floor where one player hasn’t shot in a while so they make sure as soon as they touch it again they are going to put a shot up. Today we took many shots after just one pass into the offense. These are shots from outside the lane, and we could get those anytime we want, so we might as well be patient and see if we can get a closer look first.

It’s not just one girl, it happens with most of them. But listening to all of Kim’s comments today, I think she wasn’t happy with Angel’s shot selection, nor her insistence on pushing the ball up the floor only to turn it over when getting into traffic.

Yeah. I did think Angel shouldn’t have pushed the ball so much. She was definitely off.
Idk. Out of sync. Hope they fix it by Sunday. I think the long time off hurt these girls.
Also feel that we have a talented college team. But none of these girls are ready for the next level. Our seniors need to come back.
