That’s how you close a half HVL!

Our point guards can’t get the offense started. The first pass is a struggle.

Need movement. Separation. Otherwise there is no target for our PGs

Let Flaujae handle it.

Even vs SC Mikaylah could at least get it to our posts (6 assists). HVL simply can't deal with any type of ball pressure

Such a goddamn aggravating pattern we’ve fallen into this season. Get up by eight or so and look like we’re about to start rolling then screw around and let them right back in it. “Hey, we’ve had the momentum long enough, your turn now!”

Poa showing why HVL gets the nod.

Exactly. HVL is out of position, but still better than Poa. Just how bad would LSU be without HVL. I don’t mean like HVL is setting the world
on fire, but I mean from a depth perspective it would be really bad.

And I am constantly flabbergasted that we run no plays to get Mikaylah Williams open. Despite her being cold from the three vs. SC, she’s the best deadeye shooter in the country. But it’s like our offense is designed for her NOT to get the ball in her hands.

Whoever is coaching these players to play defense is doing a pretty bad job. They never pressure the ball, play an arm's length away, never deny a pass, don't contest shots, etc. Very poor defensive
principles! But when you only play 5-6 players a game, guess that's the strategy?

What game are you watching? We have several steals, blocked shots, and contested shots in the lane.

It’s the guards out top that struggle to stay in front of their girl. It’s been an issue all season.

Well the offense gets stagnant at times and the lack of a true PG to run an offense is another giant reason why

Mulkey doesn't want outside shots, she wants to pound the paint. It's worked with Moo State bigs in foul trouble.

HVL is a good point guard but she misses some easy shots

I don’t understand why we don’t get some ball screens up high for HVL to help start the offense. She needs help creating space. When she gets pressured starting at half court she struggles to get a gold first pass tostart the offense.

Occasionally slide her to the two and let Flau’jae or Mikaylah start the offense. They have shown that their girls can’t stay in front of them.

We have adjusted our sets to start the offense. Good.
